The identity needed to reflect the depth of experience behind the business, while positioning it clearly within the construction and fire engineering space.

The challenge was to create a brand that felt established and dependable, while avoiding generic visual cues often associated with the industry.

The Approach

The identity is built around a strong and structured visual language, designed to feel both professional and enduring.

The core mark uses the initials MJM, developed into a form that references the solidity and structure of the built environment. The letterforms are treated in a way that gives them a more architectural presence, creating a distinctive and recognisable mark.

A restrained colour palette of deep greys and burnt orange tones was selected to convey seriousness and authority, while subtly referencing the nature of fire engineering.

Typography and layout were designed to feel controlled and deliberate, supporting a clear and consistent application across all materials.

The result is a brand that feels confident and established, positioning the business as a premium consultancy within its field.
